mesoestetic cosmelan® 2 is a home maintenance treatment that corrects and regulates hyperpigmentation. It helps inhibit the overproduction of melanin and prevent its reappearance while improving the production of collagen and elastin. HOW TO USE

• It is important to prepare the skin adequately by using a retinoid 4- 6 weeks before starting the cosmelan® 2 treatment to help minimise the side effects
• Begin by limiting use to twice a week, gradually increasing application frequency to every other night, and then advancing to each evening or as tolerated. For optimal results, cosmelan® 2 should be used twice a day
• At night, apply cosmelan® 2 on clean, dry skin, massaging it gently
• Allow the cream to absorb completely
• Followed by a suitable barrier cream
• Always use a high-factor broad-spectrum sunscreen and reapply throughout the day
  Sun protection is vital as the skin will be more sensitive to sun exposure while using the product. For hyperpigmentation use a mineral based formula that contains iron oxides (blocks HEVL).
• Additional advice
  - Avoid using a foaming cleanser, rather use a gentle/cream cleanser to protect the skin barrier.
  - For excessive dryness incorporate a hydrating serum underneath cosmelan® 2 cream
  - For excessive sensitivity apply a calming serum underneath cosmelan® 2 cream
  - Use a facial mist to spray onto skin throughout the day to help alleviate dryness and sensitivity
• Avoid skin treatments such as chemical peels and waxing if your skin is sensitive or peeling. Wait at least 7 days after applying your cream before you do a skin treatment.
• Avoid using other products that contain retinoids and hydroxy acids if your skin is sensitive.
